USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's gymnastics head coach Kip Simons announced the addition of six newcomers to the program for the upcoming 2011 season. The newest group of Falcons, who are concluding their first week of Basic Cadet Training at the Academy, will join a talented squad of returning gymnasts that claimed the program's first-ever USAG team title last year.

"I expect great things out of this class of talented freshmen," Simons said. "They bring the depth we need to get our program to the NCAA Championships. With lots of hard work, I believe this class will continue to move our program forward."
The newest Falcons represent six states, including Colorado, as newcomer Colton Wulf, who will compete at the 2010 Visa Men's Gymnastics Championships in mid-August, is from Wheat Ridge. Air Force will also feature a pair of siblings, as Ben Zaiser joins his older brother, Aaron, on the roster.
Even with a month until the start of classes at the Air Force Academy, Simons has big plans for the Class of 2014. "I can see Mac, Tyler, Kyle, Ben and Patrick being used on several events throughout their freshman year, while I expect Colton to be doing the all-around."
