Falcons Host Two Matches This Weekend

The Air Force men's team continues its five-match season-opening homestand this weekend with a pair of matches at the Academy. On Saturday, Jan. 29, the Falcons will play Northern Colorado at 12 p.m., then will host Seattle University on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. Both matches will be played at the Academy's Indoor Tennis Courts and are free to the public.
Air Force won its season opener last weekend, defeating Montana State 5-2. After losing the doubles point, the Falcons rallied to win five of the six singles matches, including four of them in three sets. Sophomore Lance Wilhelm (#1), and freshmen Andy Jackson (#2), Alex Lineberry (#5) and Steven Young (#6) all won in three sets, while freshman Alex Grubbs won the No. 4 match in straight sets.
