Tickets for the match are $5 (adults) and $2 (children). For fans that can't make it to East Gym, the matches will be webcast and have GameTracker access via GoAirForceFalcons.com.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Boise State is currently 10-7 on the season and 1-3 in conference action, although the Broncos will host Seattle in a non-MW tilt on Tuesday night. BSU, the Falcons travel partner, dropped a pair of contests to TCU (3-2) and New Mexico (3-1) last weekend. Casey Rose currently leads the conference with 0.38 service aces per set, while Brittany Reardon is ranked second in hitting percentage with a .376 average.
SERIES HISTORY
This is the first meeting between Air Force and Boise State as Mountain West opponents. However, the two programs have faced each other twice in non-conference action, with the Broncos holding a 2-0 all-time advantage. Last season, the two schools faced off for the first time in 12 years, with Boise State collecting a 3-1 win at the Falcon Invitational.
FLYING ACES
Tallying seven total aces during the Sept. 29-Oct. 1 weekend, Air Force returned to the top of the Mountain West standings with a 1.38 per set average. Individually, Josalynn Wise is ranked seventh overall and fourth in conference matches with a per game average of 0.28. In addition, Cami Richan is tied for seventh in conference-only matches with a 0.25 average.
CONFERENCE STANDINGS
In addition to the Falcons' standings in ace production, Air Force players are listed among the league's top 10 in several other categories. Maiya Perich moved back to third with a 4.45 digs per set average, while Cami Richan and Ayesha Hein are ranked seventh (2.98) and 10th (2.79), respectively, in kills per set. Hillary Keltner is ranked eighth with 6.21 assists per set.
NOW SERVING...
Cami Richan collected her 10th service ace of the season against TCU on Oct. 1. She is the fifth Falcon to tally at least 10 aces on the year, joining Josalynn Wise (13), Ayesha Hein (13), Maiya Perich (12) and Emma Dridge (12).
MAKING A CONNECTION
Highlighted by three Falcons posting hitting percentages of at least .200, the Falcons recorded their best single-match hitting average of the conference season against TCU. Bolstered by Ayesha Hein's .333 (7k-3e-12a), Victoria Foster's .243 (16k-7e-37a) and Cami Richan's .200 (12k-4e-40a), Air Force combined for a .179 hitting tally (42k-21e-117a).
GOING FOR TWO
Against New Mexico on Sept. 29, Josalynn Wise and Megan Clary became the first Falcons since conference play opened to tally multiple service aces in a match, as they both recorded two aces during the match. Cami Richan joined the pair on Oct. 1 against TCU, as she added a pair of aces to her stat line.
