Falcons Battle Marist and Army This Weekend in West Point

The Air Force men's tennis team plays its first matches away from the Academy this weekend at West Point, N.Y. The Falcons (4-1) will face Marist on Saturday, Feb. 19 and service-academy rival Army on Sunday, Feb. 20. Both matches will begin at 1 p.m. (ET).
Air Force is off to its best start since the 2005 season after despite a 5-2 loss to New Mexico State last Sunday. Sophomore Lance Wilhelm (No. 1) and freshman Lucas Marin-Salcedo (No. 3) each won his singles match, while Wilhelm and freshman Andy Jackson won at No. 1 doubles. For his efforts, Wilhelm, who is 5-0 in singles and 4-1 in doubles, was named the Mountain West Conference Co-Player of the Week.
Marist, which has advanced to the NCAA Tournament each of the last three years, will be playing its first dual match of the season on Saturday against the Falcons, while Army enters the weekend with a 1-4 record. Air Force defeated Army, 4-3, last season.
