Volleyball Set to Host Blue-Silver Scrimmage

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force volleyball team will host its second-annual Blue/Silver Scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Falcon Court at East Gym. The open practice, which will give fans their first glimpse of the 2011 squad, will begin at 7 p.m., and it free to the public.

The Falcons' squad, under the direction of second-year head coach Matt McShane, is young, but talented. Air Force's roster features just four returning players, including one junior and three sophomores, and nine newcomers.

Air Force officially opens the season on Friday, Aug. 26, in Annapolis, Md.
