Ayesha Hein Named to Falcon Invitational All-Tournament Team

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Freshman Ayesha Hein was named to the all-tournament team of the Falcon Invitational, marking third time in as many weeks that she has earned tournament honors. Hein hit nearly .400 over the three-match weekend, including an impressive clip of .571 against South Carolina Upstate.
Over the three matches, Hein paced the Falcons in kills against SC Upstate (19) and Northern Arizona (10), while hitting .571 (19k-3e-28a) and .533 (9k-1e-15a) against Utah Valley. She also added three service aces, six digs and seven total blocks, including a pair of solo stops.
Hein was joined on the Falcon Invitational all-tournament team by Katie Bailey (Northern Arizona), Anna Gott (Northern Arizona), Lauren Campbell (Northern Arizona), Erica Nish (Utah Valley) and Sara Clement (Utah Valley). Bailey was named the tournament MVP.
The Falcons return to action next weekend (Sept. 16-17), when they travel to Davis, Calif., for their final tournament of the non-conference season.
