Ayesha Hein Named to Aggie Invitational All-Tournament Team

DAVIS, Calif. - For the fourth straight week, freshman Ayesha Hein received an all-tournament team selection, as she was named to the all-tournament team at the conclusion of the Aggie Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Over the three-match weekend, Hein tallied 27 kills and a .279 hitting percentage, as she connected on 27 of 61 attempts, while committing 10 errors. She also added three digs and six total blocks, including one solo stop. She posted double-figures in kills during both the Seattle (11) and Hofstra (10) matches, while hitting a match-best .450 (10k-1e-20a) against Hofstra.
Hein was joined on the Aggie Invitational all-tournament team by UC Davis' Allison Whitson (MVP), Betsy Sedlak and Katie Denny, Hofstra's Kelsie Wills and Kylee Maneja and Seattle's Cristin Richards.
The Falcons open Mountain West action next week, as they travel to Colorado State (Thursday, Sept. 22) and Wyoming (Saturday, Sept. 24).
