USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Fans attending the Air Force volleyball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 10, will need to follow special guidelines to ensure access to Falcon Court at East Gym, due to traffic restrictions that will be in place for the Air Force-TCU football game that is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m., at Falcon Stadium.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m., all volleyball spectators must enter the Academy through the North Gate entrance and move to the far right lane prior to passing the B-52 display at Stadium Blvd - all other lanes will be directed only to the football stadium.
Following the first match, outbound traffic will also be very limited due to the inbound flow of cars at the North Gate. Inbound traffic for football is expected to be heavy until 1:30 p.m.. There will be one outbound lane, but it will be held at the B-52 intersection until football traffic provides a gap to let outgoing traffic pass.
Fans entering the Academy for the 5 p.m. match will also have to use North Gate and should expect heavy traffic due to the conclusion of the football game.
