The Air Force women's basketball team returns home this Saturday, Jan. 21, as it hosts league-leading San Diego State at noon.

Last Season: Air Force and San Diego State split their regular season meetings last year, with the Falcons winning a 61-58 decision at the Academy on Jan. 19 to end a 40-game conference losing streak, while the Aztecs earned a 68-50 victory in San Diego on Feb. 19.

LAST TIME OUT...
Air Force had its lowest scoring game of the season on Wednesday, dropping a 98-36 decision to Wyoming on the road. Junior Alicia Leipprandt was the lone Falcon to score in double digits, finishing with 11 points against the Cowgirls.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS...
Air Force enters this weekend's contest with a 5-13 overall mark and 0-3 ledger in the Mountain West.
Junior Alicia Leipprandt is the Falcons' leading scorer on the season, averaging 14.5 points per game, while classmate Dymond James is also averaging in double figures scoring with 12.1 points per contest. James is also the team's leading rebounder with 6.9 boards per game.
SCOUTING THE AZTECS...
San Diego State currently leads the Mountain West with a 13-4 overall record and perfect 3-0 ledger in conference play. The Aztecs, who have won nine games in a row, are coming off a 77-47 home victory over New Mexico.
Courtney Clements leads the Aztecs with a league-best 16.5 points per game, while Kiyana Stamps adds 10.7 points per contest. Chairese Culberson is SDSU's leading rebounder with 5.9 boards per game, while point guard Chelsea Hopkins averages 8.5 points, 5.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds per contest.

In the latest conference statistics, Air Force leads the Mountain West in steals per game (9.4) and ranks third in rebounding offense (39.4) and offensive rebounds per game (14.0).

In the latest conference statistics, San Diego State leads the Mountain West in scoring defense (54.3), scoring margin (+13.1), three-point field goal percentage defense (.265), rebounding offense (43.4), rebounding margin (+8.5), turnover margin (+1.7), offensive rebounds (17.5) and offensive rebounding percentage (.445), ranks second in scoring offense (67.4), field goal percentage defense (.340), rebounding defense (34.8), steals (9.1) and defensive rebounds (25.8), and is third in field goal percentage (.405), three-point field goal percentage (.325), blocked shots (5.0), assist-to-turnover ratio (0.8) and three-point field goals made (4.9).
ALICIA IN THE TOP 10...
With her 11 points against Wyoming on Wednesday, junior Alicia Leipprandt moved into 10th place on the Falcons' Division I career scoring list. Leipprandt, who now has 757 career points, also needs just four more points to move into the top 25 of all-time scorers at the Academy.
SEASON-LOW SCORING...
Air Force scored a season-low 36 points against Wyoming, marking the team's lowest scoring output since January 2010, when the Falcons scored 35 points in a loss to TCU.
The Falcons also set season-low marks in rebounds (27) and steals (4) against the Cowgirls.
HIGH-SCORING OPPONENT...
For the second time in the past three years, Wyoming scored 98 points against the Falcons on their own home court. The Cowgirls also scored 98 points versus Air Force in 2010.
The Cowgirls shot 63.9 percent from the field versus the Falcons on Wednesday, marking the highest field goal percentage for an Air Force opponent this season.
A SOLID PERFORMANCE FOR ANGELA...
Freshman walk-on Angela Johnson gave the Falcons some productive minutes against Wyoming on Wednesday, scoring the first four points of her career in her fourth appearance this season. Johnson, who saw 13 minutes of action against the Cowgirls, also dished out her first career assist and grabbed a team-high-tying four rebounds.
