Air Force Women's Basketball Hosts Omaha
Air Force women's basketball hosts Omaha in its home-opener on Monday, Nov. 17. Tipoff, at Clune Arena is at 7 pm. Free internet video streaming and live stats will be available for the game.

Air Force women's basketball opened the 2014-15 regular season with a 96-56 loss at Bakersfield Friday night at the Icardo Center. Senior Lindsey Lewis led the Falcons with 15 points.
Air Force (0-1) had two players in double figures. Joining Lewis, who went 8-for-10 at the free throw line, senior Jimi Blagowsky added 11 points to go with a team-high three steals.
Junior Madeleine Philpot had a game-high seven rebounds and freshman Cortney Porter led the team with four assists.
Five players made their collegiate debuts for the Falcons. Freshmen Dee Bennett, Maggie Borngesser, Sarah Cantu, Erika Chapman and Porter played their first collegiate games for AFA.
Last Time vs. Omaha
Air Force dropped an 84-56 contest at Omaha on Dec. 11, 2013 at Sapp Fieldhouse.
Senior Camille Thompson and sophomore Missy Byrd each scored 12 points to lead the Falcons, while freshman Ashton Williams added a career-high 10 points.
Omaha led from the start, going on an 8-0 run to open the game. The Mavericks, who shot 60 percent from the field in the opening half, forced the Falcons into 14 turnovers in the half, and took a 48-30 advantage at the intermission. After the break, Omaha continued to extend its lead, eventually going up by 31 points with 4:33 remaining in the contest.
For the game, the Mavericks outscored the Falcons in the paint, 52-32, and held a 36-29 advantage on the boards. Meanwhile, Air Force (1-7) finished with 23 turnovers and was 0-of-11 from long range.
