THE FACTS
Air Force and Texas Tech are meeting for the 10th time overall and first time since 2006. Air Force and Texas Tech are playing in Lubbock for the first time since 1980, which resulted in a 50-49 Red Raiders victory. Air Force returns for five straight home games following this week. Air Force is 1-2 away from home this season, including an 0-2 road record and 1-0 nuetral site mark.
THE SERIES
Air Force and Texas Tech are meeting for the 10th time overall and first time since 2006. The Red Raiders hold a 7-2 overall lead, including a 4-0 mark at home, 2-1 mark at the Academy and 1-1 at neutral sites. Air Force won the last meeting, 67-53, in Kansas City in the CBE Classic semifinals. Prior to that win, Texas Tech had won five straight in the series. The teams first played Dec. 29, 1960 in Lubbock, Texas. The Red Raiders won the game, 81-69.

AIR FORCE THIS WEEK
Colorado defeated Air Force, 68-53, Tuesday night in Boulder, Colo. The Buffalos used a 25-0 run in the first half to pull away. Xavier Johnson led Colorado with 15 points and nine rebounds. The Buffalos shot 44 percent from the field, including a 52 percent clip in the first half, and out-rebounded Air Force 41-27. Air Force was led by Matt Mooney and Trevor Lyons, who scored 10 points each.
AIR FORCE LAST WEEK
Air Force won a pair of home games, defeating Colorado Christian 70-47, and Western State, 90-60. Max Yon scored 20 points to lead Air Force past CCU, while Kamryn Williams had a season-high 17 to lead Air Force over Western State.
AIR FORCE IN THE NCAA STATS
Despite its first game shooting under 50 percent from the field at Colorado Tuesday, Air Force is shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 44.3 percent from three-point range. The Falcons rank 23rd nationally in field goal percentage and 21st in three-point field goal percentage.
