AIR FORCE LAST WEEK
Air Force dropped a pair of road games to teams from teams from power five conferences. Air Force lost at Pac-12 foe Colorado, 68-53, Nov. 25, and at Big-12 member Texas Tech, 63-62, Nov. 30. Colorado defeated Air Force, 68-53, Tuesday night in Boulder, Colo. The Buffalos used a 25-0 run in the first half to pull away. Xavier Johnson led Colorado with 15 points and nine rebounds. The Buffalos shot 44 percent from the field, including a 52 percent clip in the first half, and out-rebounded Air Force 41-27. Air Force was led by Matt Mooney and Trevor Lyons, who scored 10 points each. Texas Tech scored the games final 10 points to take its only lead of the, 63-62, with 23 seconds left. The Falcons had a contested layup and two putbacks miss in the final seconds to make up the final margin. Max Yon scored a career-high 25 points to lead Air Force. The Falcons hit 48.9 percent from the field, but had 18 turnovers and a season-low nine assists.
