He scored six points in an 11-0 run early in the first half to put the team in control for the rest of the game. He matched his career high with five three-pointers made and hit seven of 11 field goals overall.
Yon leads the team and is fourth in the conference in scoring with a 15.9 per-game average. He has scored 20 or more points five times this season which leads all players in the conference. This weekly honor is the first in Yon's career and he is the first Falcon to win the award since Mike Lyons on Feb. 12, 2013. Air Force returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 20, by hosting UC Davis at 2 p.m. in Clune Arena.
