Kyle Westmoreland Named MW Golfer of the Week

Air Force senior Kyle Westmoreland has been selected Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Week for tournaments played Feb. 24 - March 4. This is Westmoreland's fourth MW weekly/monthly accolade of his career.
Westmoreland, from Katy, Texas, posted his 15th and 16th top 10 finishes in his career last week. He finished tied for fourth with a nine-under par total of 207 and helped Air Force tie for the team title at the Snowman Getaway held Feb. 24-25 in Goodyear, Ariz.
This past weekend, Westmoreland finished tied for seventh at the USF Invitational in Dade City, Fla., March 2-3. He once again fired a 9-under 207, including identical first and third round scores of 66, his best rounds of the season.
Westmoreland's 207 totals tie the seventh-best three-round total in school history and he now holds five of the school's top 10 all-time lowest three-round totals.
The Falcons play at the Border Olympics tournament in Laredo, Texas beginning Friday, March 14.
