Air Force Hosts North Dakota State
Air Force women's soccer plays host to North Dakota State this Parent's Weekend Friday, Aug. 29. As part of the front-end of a doubleheader with the men's team, kickoff is 4:30 pm.
Last Week
Air Force's dropped its season opener 1-0 to Montana last Friday at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. Montana scored the lone goal of the match in the 74th minute. Four freshmen started for the Falcons and seven total players made their debuts.
2014 Falcons
Air Force returns 14 letterwinners and seven starters. The Falcons welcome 12 freshmen.

Air Force went 3-13-2 and finished ninth in the Mountain West Conference in 2013.
Team Captain
Senior defender Kylie Williamson is the team captain for the 2014 season. A local Colorado Springs product from Air Academy High School here on the USAFA campus, Williamson is a four-year starter in the Falcon backfield.
Favorable Schedule
Air Force plays 11 of its 18 matches at home in 2014. The Falcons play six of its seven non-conference games at home. The Falcons were 2-5-1 at home last season.
Head Coach Larry Friend
Larry Friend (USAFA 1985) is 25-57-11 in his sixth year as the head coach at Air Force. Friend is just the second head coach in Air Force women's soccer history, succeeding Marty Buckley, who coached the program from its inception in 1992 to 2008.
Series History vs. North Dakota State
- Air Force defeated North Dakota State 5-1 in their only meeting at the 2007 Falcon Invitational at the Academy.
