Air Force Downed By Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Air Force women's basketball dropped an 86-29 contest at Vanderbilt in a nationally televised game Monday night at Memorial Gym. Junior Sarah Fotsch led the Falcons with 11 points on the night.
The Commodores shot a scorching 69.2 percent from the field scoring 52 points in the paint. Rachel Bell scored 20 points to lead Vanderbilt. Jasmine Jenkins added 12 points and Marq'ues Webb scored 11.
Fotsch made her first start of the season at forward, logging a career-high 32 minutes. Junior guard Sydney Graham added five points, hitting a three point basket and adding two assists for the Falcons. Sophomore Cortney Porter was held scoreless for the first time in her career but had a game-high four assists.
Taylor Parker made her season debut, becoming the first senior to see game action for the Falcons. Parker, who recently wrapped up playing for the AFA volleyball team, finished the night with five points and a rebound in 17 minutes off the bench.
Air Force returns to action this weekend, hosting the Air Force Classic, which runs, Dec. 4-5 at Clune Arena. The Falcons take on Eastern Michigan at 4:30 pm Friday and Grand Canyon at 4:30 on Saturday.
