Gidley selected as presenter at ITA convention

Air Force head women's tennis coach Kim Gidley was selected as one of 25 presenters for the men's and women's programs at the Division I, II, III, NAIA and junior colleges during the Intercollegiate Tennis Association annual convention in Naples, Fla., from Dec. 12-15. Gidley was one of 10 on-court presenters during the session.
"It was a great honor to represent the Air Force Academy to all collegiate programs in the country and my peers," Gidley said.
Kim Gidley is entering her 18th season at the in 2015-16. The first civilian head coach in the 38-year history of the program, Gidley became the winningest coach in the history of the program in 2003 with her 76th victory. She recorded her 100th victory at the Academy during the 2005-06 season against South Dakota State and her 200th against Seattle University in 2014. She has a 230-224 career record and has guided the program to 10 winning seasons.
Gidley led the Falcons to an 18-9 overall mark last season, its sixth consecutive winning season. The Falcons defeated a pair of nationally-ranked teams, beating No. 66 Kansas State and No. 69 Utah State. Air Force also defeated Army in the first match between the two in eight years. The team's 18 wins are the second-most in the Kim Gidley era, the fi ft h most in the history of the program, second most in the Division I era (1996-present) and most since Air Force was 20-10 in 1998-99 in Gidley's first season as head coach.
