Air Force Volleyball Adds Eight to 2015 Roster

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force volleyball team added eight players to its roster for the upcoming season, head coach Matt McShane announced today (June 25), as the Academy's Class of 2019 arrived for in-processing.

Following today's in-processing, Basic Cadet Training is divided into two phases. The first session takes place in the Cadet Area and focuses on military orientation, including basic military skills and responsibilities, improving physical conditioning and understanding teamwork through competitive sports. During the second phase, the Basics will march out to Jack's Valley, where they will focus on field training activities, while developing their mental and physical confidence training.
The volleyball team opens its season on August 28-29, when it hosts Arizona State, Montana, New Mexico State and Northeastern in the Falcon Classic at the Cadet East Gym.
