SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Air Force men's soccer dropped a 1-0 match at Cal Poly (3-0) Friday night at Alex C. Spanos Stadium. The loss dropped the Falcons to 2-2 on the season.
Chase Minter scored the lone goal of the match in the 26th minute to keep the Mustangs unbeaten.
Despite holding a 16-10 shot advantage, the Air Force could not find the back of the net. The Falcons had a balanced attack with 11 players recording a shot. Junior Tucker Axhoj had two shots on goal.
Sophomore John Wendt had four saves in the loss in goal.
Air Force returns to action, Friday, Sept. 18, at Colgate.
