Falcons in 15th after first day at Paintbrush Invite

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force golf team is in 15th place after the first day of the inaugural Paintbrush Invitational, Monday, Oct. 10, in Parker, Colo. Play was suspended late in the day due to darkness. Foursomes have less than five holes to complete the second round and then all teams will play the final 18 holes of the 54-hole tournament. Play will continue at 8:30 am MT on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Oklahoma State is in first place at seven-under-par while Texas Tech and New Mexico are tied for second at six-under. Air Force shot a 308 in the first round and is currently at 35-over for the tournament.
Senior Brenden Bone and junior Dane Hankamer are tied as Air Force's top individuals, tied for 57th place at seven-over. Senior Sunwoo Choi is tied for 70th at 10-over.
