Several Air Force Academy fencers competed in the 2016 October North American Cup, (NAC) tournament in Detroit, Mich., this past weekend.

Competing on Friday, Oct. 7, in the table of 153 in women's foil, freshman Allison Wong placed 82nd.

On Saturday, freshman Helen Landwehr finished 61st in the women's epee. In addition, freshman Jordan Griffith placed 131st and freshman Jonathan Hsu placed 146th in the men's foil.

The NAC came to a conclusion on Monday, Oct. 10. Sophomore Leanne Singleton-Comfort was Air Force's top performer of the event, taking eighth place in the women's saber out of 120 competitors.

The Falcons return to action Oct. 15-16 at the Denver Open.
