SAVANNAH INVITATIONAL
Air Force is 1-0 in the Savannah Invitational after an 87-62 win over Florida A&M Sunday, Nov. 20. The Stetson game is the second of four games in the event for the Falcons. Air Force travels to Savannah, Ga., for the final two games. The Falcons will play Akron on Friday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m. The other game that night is Mercer vs. East Carolina. The winners and losers will play each other the next night at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

LAST WEEK
Air Force posted a 3-0 record with three home wins. The Falcons beat Jacksonville, 86-68, Nov. 14 and Johnson and Wales, 105-62, Nov. 15. The team closed the week with an 87-62 win over Florida A&M Nov. The Falcons played back-to-back days 20.
LAST GAME
Jacob Van scored a game-high 17 points to lead three players in double figures as Air Force rolled past Florida A&M, 87-62, Sunday afternoon in a non-conference game in Clune Arena.
The Falcons closed the first half on an 11-3 run to take a 39-25 halftime lead. Air Force opened the second half with a 9-4 spurt in the first three and one-half minutes to take control of the game, 48-29, with 16:32 remaining. Air Force went on to lead by as many as 30 points, 78-48, with 4:30 remaining. FAMU was never able to get closer than 23 points after that.
Frank Toohey added 15 points while Zach Kocur chipped in with 13 points and season highs of six rebounds and six assists. The Falcons hit 50 percent from the field, on 25-50 shooting. The Falcons hit 10-21 3-pointers (47.6 percent) and 79.4 percent from the free throw line. Air Force out-rebound FAMU 47-29 and assisted on 19 of 25 field goals.
FAMU was led by Desmond Williams, who had 16 points and eight rebounds. K'Ja Johnson added 15 points for the Rattlers, who fell to 2-2 on the season.
BEST START SINCE 2012-13
Air Force's 4-0 start is the best to open the season since 2012-13 when the Falcons opened up 5-0, the best under head coach Dave Pilipovich. This season is the second time under Pilipovich the team has opened the season 4-0. The last time the Falcons opened a season better than 5-0 was 1982-83 when the team opened 6-0 which is the only time in school history the program has been 6-0 through the first six games.
