THE SERIES
Air Force and UC Davis are meeting for the fifth time. The series is tied 2-2. Air Force is 1-1 at home and 1-1 on the road in the series. The Falcons won last year's game, 67-60, in Davis, Calif. UC Davis won the last time the two played in Clune Arena, 81-75, Dec. 20, 2014. The teams first played Dec. 22, 2009 at the Academy. The Falcons won the game, 69-57.

LAST SEASON VS. UC DAVIS
Hayden Graham scored 20 points to lead Air Force past UC Davis, 67-60, Dec. 19 in a non-conference game in Davis, Calif.
The Falcons hit a road-best 50 percent from the field on 24-of-48 shooting, including 42.1 percent from 3-point range. Trevor Lyons added 14 points and Zach Moer 10 for the Falcons. Air Force was out-rebounded, 37-30, but held 20-14 edge in the second half.
Air Force used a 15-0 run midway through the first half to take a 26-12 lead with 6:52 left in the half. The Falcons forced UC Davis to 0-11 from the field during the run. Six different Falcons scored during the stretch, led by Graham's four points. UC Davis closed the half out-scoring Air Force, 15-6, to cut the lead to 32-27 at halftime. UC Davis was never able to get closer than three points in the second half, the last time coming at 48-45 with 10:12 left.
Darius Graham scored 16 points for UC Davis while Siler Schneider added 12 points. The Aggies hit just 38.1 percent from the field, including a four-of-23 clip from 3-point range.
THE LAST TIME AT AIR FORCE
Corey Hawkins scored 22 points and Josh Fox added 19 as UC Davis defeated Air Force, 81-75, in a non-conference men's basketball game at Clune Arena.
The Aggies used a 16-2 run late in the second half to pull away and take a 68-55 lead with 3:24 left. Fox keyed the run with seven points. The run came after Air Force used a 12-3 spurt to take its first lead of the game since the 17:52 mark of the first half, 53-52 with 8:08 remaining. UC Davis hit nine of 10 free throws in the final 1:18 to secure the win.
Josh Ritchart and Neal Monson each added 10 points for UC Davis, who improved to 8-1 to mark the best start in school history. The Aggies hit 52.1 percent from the field and 25-of-28 from the free throw line.
Air Force was led by Trevor Lyons, who scored 18 points. Kamryn Williams added a season-high 17 points and career-high 14 rebounds to notch his first double-double of the season and sixth of his career. Freshman Matt Mooney and sophomore Zach Kocur each chipped in with 16 points. Air Force hit just 41.9 percent from the field, including a 37.0 clip in the first half when falling behind 35-26 at halftime. The Falcons out-rebound UC Davis, 35-29, and had just nine turnovers.
LAST TIME OUT
Colorado defeated Air Force, 75-68, Dec. 19 in Clune Arena. Xavier Johnson scored 14 points to lead five Buffs in double figures as Colorado won for the seventh straight time in the series. Colorado hit 54 percent from the field, including 41.7 percent from 3-point territory. Colorado built a 13-point second half lead, but Air Force cut the lead to five points twice, the last coming with just over a minute to play, but couldn't get any closer. George King scored 13 points, Derrick White 12 and Deleon Brown and Wesley Gorden 10 each for the Buffs.
Air Force was led by CJ Siples, who scored a season-high 15 points. Hayden Graham added 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds while Zach Kocur chipped in with 12 points. The Falcons out-rebounded Colorado, 38-33, and forced 16 turnovers, but hit just 36.1 percent from the field.
SCORING NOTES
- Air Force has had at least three players score in double figures in each game this season. The Falcons have had four in double figures four times. The team had a season-best six score in double figures vs. Missouri State.
