A look back at the 2015-16 season

This season: Air Force finished the season 13-12 overall. The Falcons were the eighth seed in the 2016 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championships with a 1-4 mark. The Falcons clinched their seventh straight winning season, a first at the Division I level. Junior Chloe Forlini posted a 29-12 overall singles record and a 26-11 doubles mark. She was an all-Mountain West selection for singles.
20-win club: Air Force had four players with 20 or more singles victories this season. Junior Chloe Forlini led the way with a 28-12 overall singles mark. She was 17-7 in duals. Her 28 wins this season ranks second all-time behind only the school-record 33 she posted last season.
Junior Joecelle Rudico was 22-17 overall and 13-10 in duals while junior Lily Forlini finished 21-19 overall and 13-12 in duals. Freshman Elizabeth Barnickel was 24-16 overall and 16-8 in duals. Barnickel is the first freshman in three seasons to top the 20-win mark.
20-20 club: Chloe Forlini and fellow junior Jocelle Rudico joined the 20-20-win club this season by posting 20-plus wins in singles and doubles. Forlini led the way with a 26-11 overall doubles record, including a 14-6 dual mark. Rudico was 24-11 overall and 13-7 in duals. The pair combined for a 24-10 overall record and 12-6 dual mark. They were 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
All-conference: Air Force junior Chloe Forlini earned all-Mountain West honors for singles. Forlini led the Falcons with a 29-12 overall singles record, including a 17-7 mark in dual matches. She moved to No. 1 singles midway through the season and has posted a 6-4 mark at the top spot. Her 29 wins are the second most in a single season at the Division I level in school history, trailing only the 33 she won last season. Forlini also led the team in doubles with a 26-11 overall record and 13-6 mark in dual matches. She combined with fellow junior Jocelle Rudico to post a 24-10 overall mark and 12-6 dual match record. The pair posted a 6-2 mark against Mountain West opponents.
Seven in a row: Air Force finished the season with a 13-12 mark to post a winning record for the seventh straight season, a first at the Division I level.
Head Coach Kim Gidley: Kim Gidley completed her 18th season as head coach of the women's tennis team at the Air Force Academy. The first civilian head coach in the 37-year history of the program, Gidley became the winningest coach in the history of the program in 2003 with her 76th victory. She recorded her 100th career victory during the 2005-06 season against South Dakota State and her 200th against Seattle University last season. She has a 243-236 career record. Gidley has led the Falcons to seven straight winning seasons which is a first in the Division I era (1996).
