Men's basketball team visits Talbott Elementary

The Air Force men’s basketball team visited Talbott Elementary School recently to help students participate in the Dream to Read program. The Falcons have been in partnership with area schools through the Dream to Read program for the past 15 years. Every year volunteering members from the team participate in a non-profit program which promotes early literacy by fostering positive interaction between progressive role models and at-risk youth. This year, 14 players volunteer to participate in the Dream to Read program. The players helped promote and facilitate the value of literacy in around 100 students ranging from first to third grade.
