“I think we played well in a very tough venue to play at tonight,” Air Force head coach Chris Gobrecht said. “I thought we did some good things, but ran into trouble against their height. They started to overwhelm us on the boards later in the game and I thought that ultimately decided the game. But we took a step forward today and that’s what we need to keep doing.”
Air Force returns to action hosting Boise State for its Play4Kay/NGWSD Pink Day on Saturday, Feb. 11. Tip time, at Clune Arena, is 2 pm MT.
