Graham named honorable mention all-Mountain West

Air Force senior Hayden Graham was named honorable mention all-Mountain West in men's basketball, according to an announcement from the conference. This is the second straight season Graham has earned the honor.
Graham leads the Falcons in scoring and rebounding with averages of 12.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds vs. UNLV Feb. 22 to become the eighth player in school to score 1,000 points and grab 500 rebounds. He scored a team-high 19 points at Boise State Feb. 11 to become the 24th player in Air Force history to reach the 1,000-point mark in his career. Graham did it in his 100th career game. He ranks 18th in program history with 1,083 career points.
He is the first player in 34 years to lead the Falcons in scoring and rebounding in consecutive years. Graham led the team last season with averages of 13.8 points and 6.3 rebounds. The last player to accomplish it was Rick Simmons, who led the team in 1982 with 14.3 points and 5.6 rebounds and in 1983 with 16.0 points and 7.1 rebounds.
Air Force is 11-20 this season and plays defending champion Wyoming in the opening round of the 2017 Mountain West Championships Wednesday, March 8, at 1:30 p.m. PT in Las Vegas, Nev.
