Four members of the Air Force men's basketball team took time out on Easter Sunday to lend a hand to those in need in the Colorado Springs community. Junior Trevor Lyons, along with freshmen LeSean Brown, Sid Tomes and Caleb Morris volunteered at the Marian House Soup Kitchen on Easter Sunday. The players helped serve a hot, nutritious holiday breakfast and lunch to over 500 struggling families, seniors on a fixed income, the working poor, veterans, people with disabilities, unsupported teens and others in need.
"I'm really proud of our guys giving back to the community," Air Force head coach Dave Pilipovich said. "These are the type of young people we strive to recruit to the Academy. We have had a bunch of guys on the team help in the community throughout the school year and it makes me very proud to be their coach."
