Meet Notes 12: at Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational, at Colorado Invitational ![]()
The Air Force track and field team splits for a pair of weekend competitions. Part of the squad will head to Los Angeles for the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational on Saturday, April 8, while the rest of the squad will travel to Boulder for the Colorado Invitational, a two-day meet that begins on Friday, April 7.
MEET INFORMATION: RAFER/JJK INVITATIONAL
The Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational will be held at Drake Stadium on the campus of UCLA and admission is free. A video feed of the meet will be available with a FloPro subscription and live results will be accessible through FinishedResults.com.
WHO'S WHO
The lineup for the Rafer/JJK Invitational includes collegiate teams from Air Force, Central Arizona, Cerritos College, Cornell, Oklahoma, Riverside City College, UCLA, UC Riverside and Utah State, as well as several club programs. The field features a pair of nationally-ranked squads, as the UCLA men are ranked 12th and the Oklahoma women are listed 22nd in the latest USTFCCCA Rankings.

The Colorado Invitational will be held at Potts Field on the University of Colorado's East Campus (intersection of Innovation and Discovery). A complete schedule of events is listed below. Admission is $5 for all spectators.

The meet will feature several Front Range schools, including Air Force, Colorado, Colorado State, Colorado School of Mines, Metro State, UC Colorado Springs and Wyoming, as well as numerous unattached athletes. The lineup includes one ranked team, as the Colorado State men are listed 21st in the latest USTFCCCA standings.

MEN RANKED SIXTH IN COLLEGIATE DUAL MEET RANKINGS
The Falcons slipped one spot to No. 6 in the Collegiate Dual Meet Rankings.
WHAT'S ON DECK
The Falcons will return to California next week for three competitions, including the California Invitational Combined Events Meet (April 12-13), the Mt SAC Relays (April 13-14) and the Beach Invitational (April 15).
