(Nov. 11, 2017) Wyoming defeated Air Force, 28-14, in Falcon Stadium. The Cowboys rolled to a 21-0 lead in the second quarter before the Falcons scored on an Arion Worthman to Marcus Bennett 22 yard touchdown connection to make it 21-7 at the half. The Falcons cut it to 21-14 in the third quarter with a Taven Birdow 10 yard touchdown run. Wyoming put the game away with a touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter to make up the final margin. Wyoming finished with 229 total yards, including 129 passing. Josh Allen hit 8-11 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown before leaving due to injury. Air Force finished with 378 total yards, including 203 rushing and 175 passing. Birdow rushed for 82 yards and a score while Worthman hit 10-22 passes for 175 yards. Grant Ross led the defense with a career-best 14 tackles.
LAST TIME AT WYOMING
(Oct. 8, 2016) Wyoming beat Air Force, 35-26, in Laramie in another thrilling game in the series. The Cowboys controlled the first half, taking a 14-6 lead and extended the lead to 28-6 late in the third quarter. Air Force stormed back when Nate Romine hit Jalen Robinette for a 75 yard scoring strike to cut the lead to 28-13. Romine later added a one-yard TD run to make it 28-20 before connecting with Tim McVey on a 49 yard pass to make it 28-26 with 3:31 left. Wyoming held on the two-point run try, then recovered an on-side kick and scored in the final minutes to make up the final margin. Josh Allen led Wyoming, hitting 15 of 27 passes for 173 yards and three TDs while Brian Hill rushed for 92 yards and a score. The Cowboys had 362 total yards. D.J. Johnson led the Falcons with 73 yards rushing while Romine hit six of 19 passes for 188 yards and two scores. Air Force had 337 total yards, including 188 passing.

Air Force defeated New Mexico, 42-24, to snap a two-game losing streak overall and a three-game streak to the Lobos. Air Force, who led 21-17 at the half, broke open a close game in the second half with a pair of Donald Hammond III to Kade Waguespack touchdown passes in the third quarter. Fullback Cole Fagan put the finishing touches on the win with a three-yard TD run in the fourth quarter to make up the final margin. The Falcons rolled up season highs in total yards with 623 and rushing yards with 478 while holding the Lobos to 305 total yards, including just 55 in the second half. Hammond led the way with a career-high 136 yards rushing and a score while hitting five of six passes for a career-best 145 yards and a career-high two TDs. Kadin Remsberg added a career-high 99 yards rushing while Fagan added a career-best 98 yards on the ground. The defense was led by Kyle Johnson's nine tackles. Grant Theil added a career-best seven tackles and his first-career interception and forced fumble in his first-career start.
