
Air Force Adds Six to Volleyball Roster

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force volleyball team added six players to its roster for the upcoming season, third-year head coach Marc Swindle announced today (June 28), as the Class of 2022 arrived on base for in-processing and the start of their four-year career at the Academy.
The incoming class of freshmen includes Rachel Budzinski (Winston-Salem, N.C.), Abigail Collins (Knoxville, Tenn.), Vittoria Juarez (San Diego, Calif.), Bailey Keith (Waco, Texas), Victoria Lambos (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Lily Landis (Minneapolis, Minn.).

Following today's in-processing, the Academy's Basic Cadet Training (BCT) is divided into two phases. The first session takes place in the Cadet Area and focuses on military orientation, physical conditioning and the understanding of teamwork through sport. During the second phase, the Basics march out to Jack's Valley, where they will focus on field training, while developing their mental and physical confidence.
The volleyball team opens its season on Aug. 24-25, when it travels to North Carolina for the Spartan-Demon Deacon Classic against UNC Greensboro, Wake Forest and Maryland.
