Air Force Opens 2018 with Colorado Cup Matches
Air Force women's soccer opens the 2018 season with a home and neutral-site matches Aug. 16 and 19, in conjunction with the Colorado Cup. The Falcons host Colorado on Thursday, Aug. 16, at Cadet Soccer Stadium. Air Force plays Northern Colorado on Sunday, Aug. 19, at Prentup Field in Boulder as part of a Colorado Cup triple header. Live stats will be available for both matches.
In addition to its two games, Air Force is slated to participate at the Special Olympics Clinic on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Westminster City Park up in Westminster from 3-5 pm.
About The Colorado Cup
The Colorado Cup is in its eighth season. The Colorado Cup was created as a way for all six Div. I women's soccer programs in the state of Colorado to gain exposure through competition with each other. Each team will play three in-state opponents with three points being earned for wins and one for a tie. The team with the most points will be crowned Colorado Cup Champion. Air Force is slated to play Colorado, Northern Colorado and its conference match with Colorado College will count towards the Colorado Cup for 2018.
