Tucker Bone Drafted First-Round to the Seattle Sounders FC

CHICAGO, Illinois - Air Force senior midfielder Tucker Bone was selected 20th overall by the Seattle Sounders FC, on the first day of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, held at McCormick Place in Chicago. Bone is the ninth Falcon in program history to be drafted into the MLS.
Bone, 22, started 67 of 81 appearances over his four-year career at the Academy, recording 25 goals and 22 assists. He was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year and a MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist as a senior in 2018 after tallying 13 goals and six assists in 22 appearances. Bone was also a three-time First Team All-WAC selection and a two-time United Soccer Coaches (USC) First Team All-American.
Bone is the fifth first-round draft pick in WAC men's soccer history, following Fresno State's Brian Johnson (1997, Pick 7, Kansas City Wizards), SMU's Tony Soto (1999, Pick 10, Los Angeles Galaxy), SMU's Paul Broome (1999, Pick 12, Dallas Burn) and Seattle U's Alex Roldan (2018, Pick 22, Seattle Sounders).
