Ihrig Crowned Consolation Champion At ITA Mountain Regional

Air Force men's tennis completed day five and final day action Sunday at the 2019 ITA Mountain Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Denver. Freshman Morgan Ihrig earned the consolation championship with his win Sunday.
The freshman defeated Julien Evrard of Nevada in the consolation championship match 7-5, 6-4. Ihrig completed the week with a 5-1 record, including a perfect 5-0 run through the consolation bracket.
Air Force returns to action at the Air Force-Army Challenge Nov. 8, at The Army and Navy Club in Washington, DC.
