Men's Swimming & Diving to take on WAC Rival Grand Canyon

The Falcons will be taking the pool against the defending WAC Champions
PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Air Force Academy men's swimming and diving team heads down south to Phoenix to take on WAC rival Grand Canyon, Friday-Saturday, Nov. 8-9, at the Fr. Edward Reese Aquatic Center. Action begins at 3 p.m. MT on Friday and continues at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Both days will serve as individual dual meets, with each day comprised of 13 events. The full schedule of events is below. The meet will run alongside the women's swim and dive team as they take on GCU, as well as New Mexico State and Idaho.
Last season against GCU, the two teams tied in the first dual meet, before the Antelopes got the better of the Falcons on day two, 143-100. Grand Canyon went on to win the WAC Championships later in the season.
The last time out, Air Force opened up the 2019-20 home slate with two commanding dual wins, 183-106 over the Colorado School of Mines, and 171-123 over Colorado Mesa, Friday evening, Nov. 1, at the Cadet Natatorium. In the 16-event meet, the Falcons claimed gold in 12 of the events, including the two relays, two diving events, and eight individual wins.
After this weekend, Air Force is off until the end of the month when they head down to the first big Invitational of the season, the Art Adamson Invite hosted by Texas A&M University. The event will run Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 21-23.
