Air Force Women’s Tennis Hosts New Mexico In Regular Season Finale

The Air Force women's tennis wraps up the 2019 regular season hosting New Mexico on Friday, April 19, at the USAFA outdoor tennis courts. The Falcons enter the weekend sporting a 21-1 record and 4-0 mark in conference play. The 21 wins is a Div. I era record at Air Force and the 4-0 mark in MW play is also a school record.

Action begins at 3 pm MT. Free pizza will be provided to fans.

The Falcons will honor its two seniors, Elizabeth Barnickel and Meredith Laskey, as part of senior day. Barnickel enters the weekend as Air Force's all-time leader in career wins (202), career doubles wins (104) and dual combined wins (128).

Nationally Ranked: Junior TJ Fumagalli and freshman Kristin Kerrigan enter the weekend ranked #89 in doubles in the latest ITA Top doubles rankings. The duo is 30-7 on the season and 11-3 in duals competition.

Last time out: The Falcons were off from competition last weekend. Air Force defeated Utah State 4-0 in its last outing on April 7.
