Falcons Announce 2019 Volleyball Schedule

Air Force's full 30-match lineup includes three tournaments and an 18-match Mountain West schedule.
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Highlighted by 15 contests inside Cadet East Gym, the Air Force volleyball team announced its schedule for the upcoming 2019 season today. The Falcons' full 30-match lineup includes three tournaments and an 18-match Mountain West schedule.
The Falcons, under the direction of first-year head coach Keith Barnett, open the 2019 campaign against Navy, UConn and Gonzaga at the Service Academy Classic in Washington, D.C., over the Aug. 30-31 weekend. Air Force will then travel to Tulsa, Okla., to face Arkansas Little Rock, Illinois State and Oral Roberts at the ORU Invitational on Sept. 6-7, before opening the home portion of its season against UC Irvine, Loyola Chicago and Virginia Tech at the sixth-annual Amy Svoboda Memorial Classic on Sept. 13-14. The Falcons close out the non-conference portion of their season with home contests against Denver (Sept. 19), Montana (Sept. 20) and Santa Clara (Sept. 21).
The conference slate begins at the Academy on Sept. 26, when Air Force hosts Utah State in the only meeting of the season between the two squads. The Falcons will travel to Idaho two days later (Sept. 28) for their lone contest of the year with Boise State, before beginning home-and-home series with Wyoming (home: Oct. 3, road: Nov. 2), Colorado State (home: Oct. 5, road: Oct. 31), Nevada (road: Oct. 10, home: Nov. 9), San Jose State (road: Oct. 12, home: Nov. 7), Fresno State (home: Oct. 17, road: Nov. 16), San Diego State (home: Oct. 19, road: Nov. 14), UNLV (road: Oct. 24, home: Nov. 23) and New Mexico (road: Oct. 26, home: Nov. 21).
