Falcon Lacrosse Announces 2020 Schedule

Air Force Lacrosse will host six games at Falcon Stadium
U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - Head lacrosse coach Bill Wilson announced the 2020 Air Force lacrosse schedule, Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons will play 15 regular-season games during the campaign, six of which will be hosted at the Academy.
The Falcons will open exhibition play against two 2019 NCAA tournament qualifiers in Towson (Oct. 19) and Notre Dame (Jan. 25), on the road.
Air Force will open the regular season on February 1 against NCAA perennial powerhouse, Duke, in Durham, North Carolina. The Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA semi-finals last season.
The Falcons will open the home slate against in-state rival University of Denver on February 8, before traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah, to play the University of Utah (Feb. 15) in their second season as a Div. I program.
Air Force follows up with a trip to Denver to play in the University of Denver's annual Pioneer Face Off Classic, matching up with Cleveland State and Saint Bonaventure on February 22 and 23, respectively.
On March 1, the Falcons will take on 2019 NCAA champions, Virginia, in Charlottesville, Virginia, marking the second-straight season of Air Force playing the previous season's NCAA champs. The Falcons return to the Academy to host Canisius, March 7, and close out the non-conference slate at Detroit Mercy on March 24.
Air Force flies into the Southern Conference slate March 14 against Furman and continues league action through April 25 where the Falcons conclude the regular-season against 2019 SoCon Champions, Richmond, on the road. The top four teams in the league will compete in the Southern Conference tournament, April 30 to May 2, hosted by High Point for the second-straight season.
