Falcons and Yellow Jackets meet at Cadet Ice Arena
This Week: Air Force (5-8-3, 5-4-3 AHA) hosts the AIC Yellow Jackets (8-9-1, 8-4-1 AHA), Friday-Saturday, Jan. 3-4, at the Cadet Ice Arena. Friday's game starts at 7:05 pm MT while Saturday's faceoff is at 5:05 pm.

AIC is 8-9-1 overall and 8-4-1 in the league. AIC is 5-3-1 in the last eight games. AIC fell to Maine, 5-1, on Dec. 30. Senior Blake Christiansen leads the team with 16 points. Junior Tobias Fladeby leads the team with nine goals. Senior Zackarias Skog has a 1.76 GAA and a .929 saves percentage to rank in the top 15 in the nation in both categories.
Series vs. AIC: Air Force and AIC have played 42 times and the Falcons hold a 33-5-4 lead in the series that began in 1980. As Atlantic Hockey rivals, the teams have played 34 times and Air Force has a 25-5-4 lead in the league series. AIC swept Air Force last season, 5-0 and 4-0, in Springfield. Air Force has won just one of the last five games in the series (1-2-2). The teams have played 24 games at the Academy and Air Force is 18-2-4 against AIC at Cadet Ice Arena. The last meeting in Colorado was almost two full years ago, Feb. 2-3, 2018. Air Force is 8-0-1 in the last nine games against AIC at the Cadet Ice Arena. AIC's last win at the Academy came in 2013.
