The Falcons took a 14-10 halftime lead behind touchdown runs from Donald Hammond III and Taven Birdow. Air Force exploded in the second half behind the passing of Hammond. The Falcons extended the lead to 30-16 behind a pair of Hammond touchdown passes. He added two more early in the fourth quarter to put the Falcons in front, 44-16, before the Lobos added a touchdown in the final minutes to make up the final margin. Hammond hit 9-10 passes for a career-high 327 yards, the fifth most in Air Force history and most since 1976. He threw for a career-best four touchdowns, two each to Geraud Sanders and Ben Waters. The four TD passes tie as the second most in school history. Sanders finished with five catches for 156 yards and Waters had four catches for 171 yards. They became the first duo with over 100 yards each since 2004. The Falcons had 540 yards of total offense while holding New Mexico to 358. Demonte Meeks led the defense with a career-best 14 tackles.
LAST TIME AT FALCON STADIUM
(Nov. 10, 2018) Air Force defeated New Mexico, 42-24, to snap a two-game losing streak overall and a three-game streak to the Lobos. Air Force, who led 21-17 at the half, broke open a close game in the second half with a pair of Donald Hammond III to Kade Waguespack touchdown passes in the third quarter. Air Force put the finishing touches on the win with a three-yard TD run in the fourth quarter to make up the final margin. The Falcons rolled up season highs in total yards with 623 and rushing yards with 478 while holding the Lobos to 305 total yards, including just 55 in the second half. Hammond led the way with a career-high 136 yards rushing and a score while hitting five of six passes for 145 yards and two TDs. Kadin Remsberg added a rushing. Kyle Johnson led the defense with nine tackles. Grant Theil added a career-best seven tackles and his first-career interception and forced fumble in his first-career start.

Boise State defeated Air Force, 49-30, Oct. 31 in Falcon Stadium. The 25th-ranked Broncos scored on the game's opening play with a 75-yard touchdown pass from Jack Sears to CT Thomas to take a 7-0 lead. The Falcons scored the first two times they had it on rushing touchdowns from Brandon Lewis and Matthew Murla to take a 14-7 lead. Boise State exploded for 21 points in the second quarter to take a 28-17 halftime lead. The Broncos extended the lead to 35-17 with the second TD connect between Sears and Thomas. Following an Air Force touchdown run by Murla to cut it to 35-24, Avery Williams returned the ensuing kickoff 88 yards for a score to make it 42-24. Both teams added a touchdown to make up the final margin. Boise State had 459 total yards, including 280 passing. Sears hit 17-20 passes for 280 yards and three scores. Air Force had 484 total yards, including a season-high 415 rushing. Lewis led the way with a career-high 112 yards, while Elijah Robinson chipped in with 90 and Warren Bryan 87.
