Falcons Announce Track and Field Captains

Nine seniors were selected by their teammates to lead the squad during 2020-21 season.
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Nine Falcons have been selected as captains of the Air Force track and field team for the upcoming 2020-21 season, head coach Ralph Lindeman announced this week, following a selection process carried out by the full squad.
The 2020-21 captains, which represent the program's various event groups, include Donna Borer (Pleasant Hill, Mo.), Zachary Dicken (Coppell, Texas), Scott Johnson (Parker, Colo.), Aric Kedge (Albuquerque, N.M.), Mitch Lipe (Carmel, Ind.), Kathleen Medill (Lincoln, Neb.), Maria Mettler (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Aubrey Ridgeway (Arlington, Texas) and Greg Skage (Winter Park, Fla.).
"Our coaching staff is really excited with this group of team captains," Lindeman said. "They were selected entirely by their teammates, without any engineering of the selection by the staff. These are the young men and women that will lead our teams out of this COVID period. We've told them that 'Job One' is to build and protect our teams' culture."
Air Force is scheduled to open the season next Friday (Dec. 4) with the Blue/Silver Intrasquad.
