Falcons win top singles and doubles flight at Army West Point tournament

Air Force men's tennis opened the 2020-21 season with a three-day tournament at Service Academy rival Army West Point this past Thurs.-Sat., Nov. 5-7.

Leading the way was sophomore Justin Waldman, who went undefeated in the "Black" singles flight, 3-0, to win the top singles bracket.

Juniors Jordan Azuma and Robert Baylon went undefeated in the "East" doubles flight, 3-0, to win the top doubles bracket.

Sophomore Jonathan Mascagni and Azuma both finished 2-1 and shared a tie for 1st place in the "Blue" singles bracket.

Senior Sean McKendree went 2-0 to come out on top against players in the "Silver" bracket.

Over the three-day tournament, 25 Air Force and Army West Point tennis players competed against each other in four singles brackets and two doubles brackets. The two service academy rivals played a total of 53 matches.
