Golfers open spring season Feb. 10

This Week: The Air Force golf team begins its spring season at the Pizza Hut Pat Hicks Invitational, Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 10-11, at the Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George, Utah. The teams will play 18 holes each day in the 36-hole tournament with a shotgun start each day at 9 am MT.

The Field: Air Force will be joined by Creighton, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, Seattle, Southern Utah, Stetson, Utah State, Utah Valley, Weber State, Western Illinois and Youngstown State

Last Time Out: Air Force closed out the fall portion of the schedule at the Kaanapali Collegiate Invitational, Nov. 1-3, in Maui, placing 16^th with a three-round total of 862 (+10).

Scoring Leaders: Senior Joseph Crisostomo leads the team with a 72.71 season stroke average. In the final tournament of the fall, Crisostomo shot an opening round 65 in Maui, the lowest score by any Falcon this season. Over the three-day tournament, Crisostomo led the Falcons with a 6-under 207 and placed 25^th in the tournament. Sophomore Luke Trujillo is second on the team with a 73.71 while senior Josh Wu has a 74.06.
