"Shawn was a mainstay out of the bullpen for us during his career," Pitching Coach Ryan Forrest said. "Over the past four years he embraced his role of being that 'fireman' type reliever in which he was put into games in tough situations and expected to get out of them."

Senior (2020):
- Appeared in six games (6.1 innings) out of the bullpen, striking out seven batters
- Tossed 2.2 scoreless innings vs. Campbell, only allowing one runner on a walk and striking out three
- Totaled 60 appearances, totaling 78 innings pitched over his four year career
- Racked up 66 strikeouts to go along with a win and two saves

Junior (2019):
- Made 13 appearances, all in relief, totaling 23.2 innings
- Pitched to a 6.46 ERA, striking out 25
- Recorded a save after pitching three innings in relief against Northern Colorado, March 12
- Had seven scoreless appearances, including four that were two innings in length
- Pitched to a 3.12 ERA over 8.2 innings in conference play
- Tied his career-high with four Ks at Pacific, March 27

Sophomore (2018):
- Appeared in 22 games, all in relief, the second-most appearances on the team
- Notched a win against San Diego State, April 7
- Totaled 26 strikeouts in 29.1 innings pitched
- Struck out a career-high four against South Dakota State, March 7
- Tossed two scoreless innings at Fresno State, April 29, striking out two

Freshman (2017):
- Third on team with 19 appearances, all in relief
- Second on team amongst relievers with 4.82 ERA
- Led relief corps with 2.70 ERA in Mountain West play
- Struck out eight in 18.2 innings pitched
- Made collegiate debut vs. LSU
- Picked up one save on the season with three scoreless innings vs. San Jose State
- Had 12 outings without allowing an earned run
- 10th in the Mountain West with seven games finished

HIGH SCHOOL (Sweeny): Lettered four years in baseball and two in football…first-team all-state, all-county MVP and district MVP as a senior…third-team all-state as a junior…first-team all-county and first-team all-district as a sophomore and junior…team captain for three seasons…highs school baseball coach was David Luster…played summer ball for the South Texas Sliders, coached by Matt Pierce…National Honor Society member.
