Riley Snyder hit the game-winning shot with five seconds remaining in regulation to propel Air Force to a 51-49 win against Mountain West foe, San Diego State, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 8, 2020) in Viejas Arena.
Snyder and Kaelin Immel led the Falcons with 17 points apiece. Snyder shot 47-percent from the field (8-17), tallied three rebounds and an assist while Immel snagged six boards and shot a perfect 4-4 from the free-throw line.
Point guard Briana Autrey-Thompson registered a career-best 11 assists while scoring five points and collecting four defensive rebounds. Emily Conroe scored eight points, snatched eight rebounds and blocked three shots on the day. Conroe's eight boards pushed her over 500 career rebounds, becoming the sixth Falcon in the Division-I era to accomplish the feat.

The Falcons will take a break in action as the two-game series with San Jose State, slated for January 28 and 30, has been canceled. The San José State women's basketball program will not play the remainder of the 2020-21 season due to health and safety concerns stemming from COVID-19.
Air Force's next series will be against UNLV at the Academy. The Falcons and Rebels will meet in Clune Arena on Friday (Feb. 5) and Sunday (Feb. 7), with 6 p.m. and 1 p.m. MT tip times, respectively.
