Air Force welcomes the 2021 WAC regular-season champions, No. 17 Grand Canyon, for Senior Day on Saturday, November 6. Action is slated for 1 p.m. at Cadet Soccer Stadium. The last time the Falcons and Lopes met was in the WAC Championship match where sixth-seeded Air Force upended top-seeded GCU, 3-0.
THE SERIES AGAINST GCU
Air Force and Grand Canyon are meeting for the 12th time in program history. The Falcons lead the all-time series 6-4-1.

Following the victory against UNLV on October 24, the Falcons secured their sixth-straight WAC Tournament berth, seventh total appearance since joining the WAC in 2013. Grand Canyon, who won the regular season, has clinched the top-spot in the home-based tournament.

The Falcons will head to the WAC Tournament hosted by Grand Canyon in Phoenix, Arizona. Complete seeding is expected to release at the conclusion of Saturday's regular season matches. The final WAC match of the season will be Dixie State at UNLV, or San Jose State at Seattle U. Both matches are slated for 7 p.m. PT starts.
LAST WEEK
The Falcons were unable to wrangle in a road win, falling to Utah Valley on Thursday, 3-0, and dropping and overtime heartbreaker to California Baptist, 1-0, Saturday evening.
SENIOR SO-LONGS
Prior to the regular season finale, the Falcons will honor six seniors in team captains Giuliano Daniel and Jared Dove, along with Kainoa Likewise, Michael Neacsu, Lathan Spadafora and Tristan Trager. Former player and current manager Dylan Stanley will also be honored with his classmates.
The class of 2022 has made the WAC tournament all four years, highlighted by the program's first-ever WAC Tournament title in 2021. They had a hand in two NCAA Tournament visits, in 2018 and 2021, with hopes of making a third later this season.

As a team, Seattle U continues to lead the WAC in shots (262) and corner kicks (106) while first-place Grand Canyon is the leader in points (108), goals (37), goals per game (2.31), assists (34), least goals allowed (13), goals against average (0.81) and are tied with San José State for the lead in shutouts (6). Utah Valley is the leader in assists per game (2.13) and Chicago State is tops in total saves (85).
Individually, SU's Declan McGlynn is the leader in shots (61) and SJSU's Rudi Castro is the leader in shots per game (3.78). AF's Tristan Trager is the leader in points (29) and points per game (1.93) while CBU's Bryan Iliohan is the leader in total goals (13) and goals per game (0.76). UNLV's Marco Gonzalez is the leader in assists (9) and UVU's Jojea Kwizera is the leader in asssists per game (0.53). GCU's Justin Rasmussen is the leader in game-winning goals (5).
