Men's Soccer Hosts Cal Baptist in Monday Match

GAME 08: AIR FORCE (2-4-1, 2-4-1 WAC) vs. CALIFORNIA BAPTIST (5-3-2, 4-3-1 WAC)
Air Force returns to the Academy for the remainder of the regular season, hosting California Baptist on Monday, April 5, and Houston Baptist on Friday, April 10. Kick off times are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.
THE SERIES
Air Force and California Baptist will be meeting for the third time since CBU became a Div. I team. Air Force won the first meeting, 3-1, at California Baptist, while the Lancers picked up a 2-1 overtime win in the last meeting at the Academy.
SIX-PACK
The 2020-21 WAC Men's Soccer Tournament will feature the top six teams on April 13, 17, and 19 at Johann Memorial Field in Las Vegas. The top two teams in the regular-season standings will receive byes straight to the semifinals.

LAST TIME THEY MET
Air Force rallied to a late equalizer in regulation but fell in overtime, 2-1, to Western Athletic Conference opponent California Baptist on a rescheduled match day at the Air Force Academy.
Air Force, who had trouble finding an offensive rhythm in the first half, proved the aggressor in the second half, taking 15 shots to CBU's four while registering 22 total shots on the game. The shootout marked the fourth-straight match that the Falcons have out shot their opponent. Air Force goals leader, Tristan Trager, led the squad with four shots while teammate Lathan Spadafora tallied three. Four other Falcons tallied two shots apiece in the offensive effort.
