Series History vs. Wyoming
-In 58 games between the two schools, Air Force owns a 3-55 record against Wyoming.
-Air Force's last win over Wyoming was February 25, 2018, a 57-47 victory at Clune Arena.
-A Falcons win on Saturday would mark the first-ever in Laramie.
Last Time Out
-Nearly 14 years to the day Air Force last defeated Colorado State at Moby Arena in 2008, the Falcons, led by a pair of freshmen guards, cruised past the Rams in Thursday's 77-52 win.
-Five Falcons finished in double-figures, with freshmen Lauren McDonald leading all players with a career-high 15 points.
-The majority of McDonald's scoring prowess came from behind the arc, where she made all four of her three-point attempts. She found ways to impact the game in other areas as well, snagging seven boards and three assists, with her rebounding total also marking a new personal best.
-Fellow C4C Jo Huntimer also put together a breakout evening, rewriting her career-high in points with 14. Huntimer was efficient on the offensive end, going 6-9 from the field including 2-5 from three-point range. Like McDonald, Huntimer was opportunistic, grabbing six rebounds to go with her three assists.
-Colorado State entered the evening surrendering the fewest turnovers in the country with an average of 10.2 per contest, while Air Force ranked 16th in the nation in turnovers forced at 22.1 per game. The Falcons lived up to the task, forcing 14 turnovers compared to just seven of their own to tie a season-low.
After Wyoming
-Following Saturday's game against the Cowgirls, the Falcons will return to Clune Arena on Wednesday, January 19 for a matchup with Fresno State. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 pm MT.
