COVID-19 Update
-Current Department of Defense and Air Force Academy policies require all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask when indoors in all Academy facilities, including the press box, Blue and Silver Club, suites, elevators and restrooms. All individuals who have not been fully vaccinated must also wear masks outdoors at all times while on the installation. Fans who are fully vaccinated and are not required to wear a mask when outdoors. Anyone with a COVID-19 diagnosis within the previous 10 days, or any symptoms suggestive of possible COVID-19, or a recent close contact with an individual known to be positive for COVID-19 should not come to the stadium. These policies will be constantly evaluated and any changes will be communicated.
Series History vs. Nevada
-Since 1981, Air Force has recorded an all-time record of 6-18 against Nevada.
-The Falcons last win over the Wolfpack took place in 2019, a 79-74 overtime win at Clune Arena.
Earlier this season, the Falcons were defeated 67-52 in Reno on December 28.
Last Time Out
-Without a handful of players due to health and safety protocols, the Falcons overcame a short bench in Saturday's 58-46 win, as Riley Snyder turned in a star performance while making history along the way.
-Snyder managed 19 points, as she was 50% from the field (8-16), also adding five rebounds and a couple of steals to her stat line.
-With her 19 points, Snyder (1,390 career points) passed Raimee Beck (1,386 career points) to jump to 6th all-time on the program's overall scoring list, while becoming the second all-time scorer in Air Force's Division I history.
-Cierra Winters again crafted a solid day at the office, scoring 12 points to go with three assists and three steals.
-Winters has now recorded 10+ points in 10-consecutive games.
A Change in the Tide
-With four conference wins as of January 23, Air Force is tied for its most wins in the Mountain West before February play since the Falcons joined the conference in 1999.
-A win on Monday would mark the first time in the MW era that Air Force has at least five conference wins before February.
-As well, Air Force is above the .500 mark in MW play for the first time in program history.
A Defensive Standard
-Currently, Air Force leads the Mountain West in four statistical categories, including scoring defense (58.1 PPG), steals per game (12.2), turnovers forced per game (21.5), and three-point field goal defense (26.1%)
After Nevada
-Following Monday's game against Nevada, Air Force will hit the road to play San Diego State on Thursday, January 27. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm MT.
