USAFA, Colo.- Air Force bested both Nebraska-Omaha and Colorado School of Mines on Friday, as the Falcons kicked-off the home portion of their schedule in dominant fashion.
"What an amazing night of swimming for our team," said head coach Colleen Murphy. "Our depth was truly on display at this meet."
The Falcons proved to be the superior side early and often, walking away with first-place finishes in 11 of the 13 events.
The 200Y Medley Relay team of Kai-Min Tsuei, Kimberly Woolfenden, Corbyn Cormack, and Abby Turner raced to a time of 1:44.79, good for a first-place finish. Turner also won the 200Y Free (1:54.98), and was one of four Air Force swimmers to claim first in the 200Y Free Relay (1:37.09). Tsuei contributed to the Falcons 200Y Free Relay win as well as besting the field in the 100Y Back (57.48).
Woolfenden's night also included a first-overall finish in the 100Y Breast, finishing with a time of 1:04.88. Air Force's Raquelle Roesch raced to a first-place finish in the 50Y Free, clocking in at 24.49. Zoe Bresnahan's time of 4:39.86 in the 400Y Individual Medley was tops in the event.

Grace Treanor crafted a stellar evening off of the diving board, winning the three-meter with a score of 259.50, while also placing second in the one-meter.
"We swam really well across the board," said Murphy. "We now need to turn around and get a good night's sleep and be ready for to swim fast at DU tomorrow."
Next, Air Force will travel up I-25 to take on Denver and LSU at El Pomar Natatorium on Saturday, October 15. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm MT.
